What I can do for you

Female Hormone Disorders

There are many different problems that can occur with the delicate balance of female hormones, resulting in feelings of lethargy, fatigue, irritability and even depression. PCOS is most common female hormone disorder, affecting up to 10% of the UK population.

Fibroids

Fibroids are small tumours that grow inside a woman’s uterus and although they are benign and therefore aren’t dangerous, they can result in heavier than usual menstrual bleeding, longer periods, bleeding between periods, pain during sex and, often, an unexplained pain in the pelvic region.

Assisted Conception & IVF

Infertility is a problem that is more common than many expect. Sometimes there can be a medical condition affecting a woman’s ability to conceive which can respond well to treatment. However, if there is no specific underlying condition then you may with to explore fertility treatments such as IVF.

Menstrual Disorders

For most women, periods are just an annoying monthly inconvenience, but many suffer from a menstrual disorder that can have a distressing impact on normal, everyday life. This can cover heavier or longer than average periods, irregular periods, lighter or even missing periods and, a common concern, painful abdominal cramps.

Uterine Septum and Anomalies

There are a number of different anomalies that can occur in the female reproductive organs, the most common of which is a uterine septum, and, for many women, these will lie undetected, causing no problems. If you’re having problems conceiving or experience pain during sexual activity then you may be suffering from a uterine abnormality and require treatment.

Endometriosis and Other Disorders

Endometriosis is a condition where the tissues of the womb grow outside the womb and into the fallopian tubes, ovaries or abdomen. There are a variety of symptoms that can present and many women manage to live with the condition, whereas for others, it can be a very painful, debilitating and ongoing health concern that requires intervention.
